Starting a conversation with "Don't be afraid", in French or in English is not going to work.

oh my gosh. that is intense.
the time i felt most unsafe in grenoble was 8 am sunday mornings, when all the crazies were freshly drunk. one sat next to me on the tram and tried to get my number...scary.
